Positive Effects: It forms high-strength oil films with excellent lubrication and sealing performance. It effectively reduces wear on piston rings, cylinder walls and valve plates, lowers internal leakage and improves the volumetric efficiency of the unit. With moderate oxidation resistance and carbon deposition resistance, it adapts to conventional medium-temperature working conditions and keeps the unit running with low vibration and noise.
Negative Effects: It has a relatively high pour point and is prone to wax precipitation at low temperatures, which blocks pipelines and oil supply lines and further leads to lubrication failure. It is incompatible with HFC refrigerants such as R134a, R404A and R410A; mixing them will cause oil stratification and abnormal circulation.
